Duffy's Guide to Luna City |
|---|
|
Luna City is a hub of activity in the Mutant Chronicles universe, and is the central location for this campaign. Here, the Brotherhood is predominant in daily life, but each of the megacorporations have their own chunks of the city, and plenty of smaller corporations have a chance to compete as well. Law enforcement is contracted out to private security firms, with the Brotherhood retaining the right to step in whenever there are any rumors of Heretic involvement.
Any information presented here has been tweaked for the purpose of role-play on SinaiMUCK. Liberties have been taken with locations found in Luna City - and more locations may be detailed through the course of the campaign, as the GMs flesh out the setting. Furthermore, a tiny bit of the predecessors to Mutant Chronicles has been borrowed: there are genetically-engineered "animal-people" present in this version of the Mutant Chronicles universe, though the Brotherhood's Edicts of Toth forbid any further tampering with human and animal DNA to create any new species. The purpose of this section is to give a rough overview of the setting for quick reference. The Mutant Chronicles Techno-Fantasy Role-Playing Game (2nd Edition) and the accompanying sourcebooks should be consulted for supporting background material. Where this conflicts with the material presented in the RPG, this material takes precedence, for the sake of this campaign. |
